Hi, I'm Kyla.
The first time my parents placed a film camera in my little hands was when I was three-years-old, and even though it wasn’t love-at-first-sight, the love was coming. It was my grandpa who, years later, showed me how to use his digital camera, and I couldn’t get enough. My cameras have now traveled with me across the world, shooting precious moments for clients and unforgettable moments of my own.
My husband's Air Force career has recently relocated us to Wright-Patterson AFB, so I am now accepting clients in the Dayton, Ohio area. I'm thrilled to be able to shoot in such a beautiful place, and I can't wait to get a session booked with YOU.
What's with the Squid?
Legend has it, when my mother was pregnant, her favorite thing to eat was fried calamari. From then on it only made sense that her daughter would carry on the name of her favorite snack: Kalamari, or, Kyla Marie.
As a lover of puns (and calamari), it seemed only fitting that my business would also incorporate the squid in its identity.
